All About Zentangles

What are zentangles?  Zentangles are a drawing to help you with your

breathing, they help you when you come back from a long run, and

they also help with a lot like when you angry, When you feeling bad,

When you feel sad an depressed 

Why did we create zentangles? We created zentangles to make us

feel better and to calm us down, we also created them to improve in

drawing an being silent.                          

Who are the people on the photo? The people in the photo are Vili,

Opeti, Vakapouono, Tameilau, Mum, Si Siua Taukeiaho, Siliva Havili,

me, Michael, Vahenga and my dad was taking the picture.

Why are they important? They are important because first of all there is my mum an dad, she take good care of me and I wish they were

both always there for me. Their’s my brothers, they are important

to me because some of them are younger than me, and my mum

says if I be good to my older brother I get to play on the game, I have

to take care of my little brothers an set a good example for how I want them to become good and be successful in school. My cousins, My cousins are important to me because they took care of me when I was a baby. The two tongan rugby players, they are important to me because they are like my role models. 

Parihaka and Guy Fawkes ( Research/Biography and what they did, Jabez)

In class I had to write about Parihaka and Guy Fawkes, what i learnt was that Guy Fawkes wanted to blow up parliament because king James l was doing bad things.

WALT: Ordering decimals to three places, for examples, 6.25 and 6.3 (Jabez)

In Maths Moala and I were both on this activity, This was an activity about decimals (I know another one ahhhh!!!). Something that I found hard was when I had to put the numbers in order, an lastly what did you find easy? What I found easy was doing the first activity.

Plants in space (Part two: Jabez)

Today for our science topic plants in space, We learnt about the challenges of growing plants in space.
A new word I learnt was Photosynthesis this word means the process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize nutrients from carbon dioxide and water. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a by-product. 

For our activity we worked collaboratively to find the importance of water, air, light, nutrients and growing in space for plants. We then each chose one important feature for growing plants in space and explained the challenges of giving the plants everything it needs it to go. (Here is our activity)
